Leadership Coaching

For leaders who carry more than their share

Leadership often means holding more than most people see. You are responsible for people, decisions, and outcomes, and the role keeps asking for more. Over time, it is easy to become the dependable one who quietly takes on too much—and hard to find a place where you can be honest about what that is costing you.

Leadership coaching with me is for high-responsibility leaders who are effective on the outside and feeling stretched thin on the inside.

The leaders I work with

I often work with:

  • Presidents, CEOs, and executive directors

  • Senior leaders, founders, and pastors

  • Managers and directors who are the “go-to” person for their teams

Many of them:

  • Did not ask for all that now sits on their shoulders, but stepped up because they care

  • Feel a strong sense of duty to their people, customers, or community

  • Are good at absorbing pressure and keeping things moving

  • Are starting to notice the cost—on their clarity, mood, home life, or inner world

They are not usually looking for hype or a performance coach. They are looking for a steadier way to lead.

What you might be experiencing

You might recognize yourself in some of these patterns:

  • You are always “on,” even when you are technically off.

  • You feel responsible for everything and everyone, and it is hard to switch that off.

  • You are effective, but your internal bandwidth feels low.

  • You find yourself more irritable, withdrawn, or flat at home.

  • You know you need to make some changes, but there is never a “good time.”

Nothing has to be falling apart for this to matter. Often, the leaders I work with come to me when things look fine from the outside but do not feel sustainable on the inside.

How leadership coaching helps

My work with leaders focuses on three core areas:

1. Clarity

  • Making space to think instead of react

  • Naming what is actually driving your over-responsibility

  • Distinguishing what is truly yours to carry from what is not

2. Steadiness

  • Responding instead of absorbing everything

  • Staying grounded in hard conversations and high-pressure moments

  • Building rhythms that support your emotional and physical resilience

3. Presence

  • Showing up more fully with your team and at home

  • Communicating with more honesty and less strain

  • Leading from who you are, not just what the role demands

The goal is not to make you less committed. It is to help you lead in a way that protects both your people and your own well-being.

My approach

I bring a blend of:

  • 10+ years in corporate environments, including upper management and being groomed toward a COO path

  • 10 years in counseling and human development, including leading a counseling nonprofit and a team of counselors

  • Graduate-level, evidence-based coaching training and an MA in Counseling

That mix means I understand the structural pressures of leadership and the inner patterns that keep people over-functioning. Our work is thoughtful and honest, but also practical. We will talk about what is actually happening in your week and experiment with concrete shifts in how you think, decide, relate, and set boundaries.

This is “coach-sulting”: a mix of deep coaching, clear reflection, and practical guidance, with room for both your humanity and your responsibility.

What our work can look like

A typical leadership coaching engagement may include:

  • Biweekly or monthly 1:1 sessions (virtual or in-person when possible)

  • Clear focus areas we define together (e.g., over-responsibility, relational patterns, decision-making, boundaries, burnout recovery)

  • Between-session reflection or experiments so insight turns into practice

We tailor the structure to the reality of your role and bandwidth. The emphasis is always on sustainable change, not quick fixes that you cannot maintain.

Is this for you?

Leadership coaching with me may be a good fit if:

  • People rely on you, and you feel that deeply

  • You are tired of leading on fumes

  • You want to stay faithful to your responsibilities without losing yourself

  • You suspect there is a better way to carry what you are carrying, and you are ready to explore it
