Personal Growth
For people who carry more than their share
Some people move through life with a lot on their shoulders. You show up, you care, you take responsibility, and you quietly do more than most. It works for a while—until it doesn’t quite work anymore.
1:1 coaching with me is for caring, responsible people who are stretched thin, feeling the weight of what they carry, and ready for a steadier way to live.
Who this is for
I tend to work with people who:
Are the “go‑to” person for family, work, community, or faith spaces
Take responsibility seriously and struggle to set it down
Have a humble spirit but a very full plate
Are good at holding it together and bad at asking for help
Sense that their current pace or pattern is not sustainable
You might be a leader by title—or you might simply be the one everyone relies on. Either way, you are used to carrying a lot, and you are starting to feel the cost.
What you might be noticing
You do not need a crisis to know something needs attention. Often it looks more like this:
Your mind rarely settles, even when life is technically “fine”
You feel tired in ways that rest alone is not fixing
You feel more irritable, flat, or checked out with people you love
You keep saying “this is just a season,” but the season never really ends
You can feel resentment or self‑criticism building, even as you keep doing what needs to be done
1:1 coaching gives you a place to name what is actually going on, without judgment, and to work on it with someone who understands both responsibility and burnout up close.
What we work on
Together we focus on things like:
Seeing the patterns that keep you over‑functioning
Untangling where your sense of duty came from and what it costs now
Making room for your own wants, limits, and needs
Practicing new ways of thinking, responding, and relating
Building rhythms that protect your time, energy, and inner life
The work is not about becoming less caring or less committed. It is about learning to carry what matters in a way that does not quietly undo you.
How I work
My approach brings together:
Over a decade in corporate environments, from front-line roles to upper management
A decade in counseling and human development, including directing a counseling nonprofit
Graduate‑level, evidence‑based coaching education and an MA in Counseling
That means I understand both the outer realities of work, relationships, and responsibility and the inner realities of stress, over‑responsibility, and emotional fatigue.
Our sessions are:
Thoughtful and honest (space to say what you really think and feel)
Grounded and practical (we keep tying insights back to your real week)
Respectful of your faith, values, and context (we work with who you are, not against it)
This is coach‑sulting: a mix of coaching, reflection, and practical guidance so you are not left alone to figure out the “how.”
What working together looks like
A typical 1:1 coaching relationship might include:
Regular sessions (weekly, biweekly, or monthly depending on your season)
Clear focus areas we define together (e.g., overwhelm, boundaries, self‑criticism, relational strain, burnout, life transition)
Simple practices or reflections between sessions so change does not stay theoretical
We set the pace to fit your actual life, while still moving steadily toward change that matters.
Is 1:1 coaching a fit for you?
This work might be right for you if:
You are usually the one others lean on
You are tired of feeling stretched thin or quietly resentful
You do not want to wait until something breaks to address what is going on
You are willing to be honest, curious, and engaged in your own process
You do not have to have the perfect words for what you are feeling. You just have to know that the way things are now is not how you want to keep living.
Next step
If this sounds familiar, the next step is simple.
